Randy Elvis Walker does it again- He captured the audience with the voice of ELVIS. I am never disappointed when I see a show and this one touched my heart. The whole audience participated and Randy never skipped a beat. He truly sings from the heart and it is felt throughout the audience. This performance was dynamic, energetic and when he sang You Don't Have To Say You Love me, he gave me Goosebumps. I close my eyes and hear Elvis! Randy is Magnificent! My granddaughter who is three and I still talk about his performance. BRAVO RANDY!  Thank you for putting a song in our hearts and smile on our face.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know that your show was AWESOME!  You did a fantastic job performing, singing and sounding like Elvis, while interacting and including the children.  It meant a lot to them to be on stage with you and the way you made them feel very special and loved.  Found you on the internet and was very thrilled that I attended your show.  You are the best Elvis impersonator and show I have seen.  I drove from Ft. Meyers mostly for the cause and to check you out while I visited my family.  We all just loved you and your performance.  I can not wait for your next show. Hope to get you booked in my area.

MY REVIEW ON
RANDY “ELVIS” WALKERS
MEMORIAL SHOW IN MEMORY OF CHRIS PALMER
ON MAY 21, 2009
WRITTEN BY GIGI DIXON

My name is Gigi Dixon. I met Randy Walker and his wife Alicia several years ago and they are both very nice people. Randy puts on a wonderful Elvis show and Alicia does so much to help him organize it and I tip my hat to both of them for a job well done. Randy gets better with each show that I see him perform in. He is very talented with great charisma and charm and he knows how to get the audience up and dancing and singing along with him. Randy’s show is very professional and he does Elvis Presley proud with his great show. He has a wonderful voice and he sings a great variety of songs from all of the eras of Elvis’ career which the audience loves. His Elvis outfits and jumpsuits from all of the eras in Elvis career that he wears are very beautiful and professional looking also. On May 21, 2009 Randy honored the only child of our good friend Mary Palmer, her son and our good friend the late Chris Palmer in a Memorial Show to him. Sadly Chris passed away in February 2009 from acute leukemia. He had down syndrome also. Chris was truly a very remarkable person and he always had a smile on his face and I know that Randy would agree with me on this one. The show Randy put on was sponsored and hosted by Randy “Elvis” Walker. All proceeds went to the Exceptional Theater Group which was a Drama Club that Chris belonged to, and a portion went towards getting an eternal flame next to Chris’ resting place, just like the one that Elvis Presley has. This wonderful club is for all special needs children and adults and it was held at the Jaycees Club House. I know Randy was more then honored to put on this show for Chris and so was Alicia and myself. Randy gave me the honor of opening and closing his show for him. I read some inspirational poems at the beginning of his show and ended his show with a song that I had written in memory of Chris titled Goodbye Chris Palmer. I read both the poems and sang the song at Chris’ funeral as well as sang the song at other dances for the special needs children and adults but it was truly an honor for me to be a part of Randy’s wonderful show also. So to Randy and Alicia I say thank you for giving me this honor. I really enjoyed myself and your wonderful show also Randy. I have to tell you that Randy has always been great when it comes to interacting with his audiences but he certainly has such a wonderful and gentle touch when he is performing for the special needs children and adults. When he sings to them you can just see the warmth and love all over his face for these special children and adults and you see the love and warmth on their faces for him also. He had all of them up there dancing with him including two of them who were dressed in white Elvis jumpsuits and they were so adorable up there dancing along with Randy which put a big smile on Randy and Alicia’s faces and theirs and everyone else’s especially Chris’ mother Mary and myself. I know Randy did Chris very proud that night and I know Chris would have been right up there singing along and dancing with Randy if he had been there also. But I know that Chris was watching from up above in Heaven with a huge smile on his face. For anyone who has never seen Randy perform live I would highly recommend you catch one of his shows. You will not regret it as Randy is very entertaining to watch and listen to. Like I said he does Elvis Presley proud and he Takes Care Of Business With Tender Loving Care In Elvis’ Memory. So check him out the next time he is in your area. Take Care!

Sincerely, Gigi Dixon

The show was spectacular!  It was very impressive and awesome to see the way you included and interacted with the kids.  Two kids had on Elvis costumes and imitated every move you made and sang along with you.  Your voice, charisma and moves were just like Elvis himself.  It is very admirable that you were able to sing and move while interacting and paying attention to the kids.  Your love and caring for them was very evident while you were on stage with them.  Thank you for an awesome performance that I will never forget and neither will the kids and all who attended. Thank you!

I drove from Jacksonville with some of my friends to attend Randy’s Chris Palmer’s show.  I saw his Christmas show and have been going to all his shows since.  Randy is not aware of me because I am a very low keyed person.  However, I am very happy I did not miss this show.  It was just awesome!  He never ceases to amaze me with his performances that are always increasingly GREAT!  This was a true celebration of Chris Palmer’s life with his mother and friends, and attendees.  This show was the best Elvis show I have ever seen and enjoyed immensely. His love for the children and the way he included them was just AWESOME.  I cannot wait for his next show.

I don't even know where to begin in telling you how much you have done for me, Chris & Jim. You had made my beautiful and loving son a super star. Chris loved you both so very much and you both brought so much happiness to him. That light will make him feel like the king. His love for Elvis was so pure and loving. Many times when he was really sick and almost die, he said he saw and talk to Elvis. I believe in my heart that Elvis was their by his side through out his long period of illness. Randy keep on singing and be the person you are because you where sent here to help all our special need children. God give the parents and people like you these special children because he knows that we will love them forever.  Thank you Randy and Alecia!

Randy and Alecia you truly out did yourselves at this show.  The show was fantastic!  Randy, the way you included the exceptional people in the show and interacted with them will never be forgotten by them or all who attended the show.  Your love and genuine caring for the exceptional people was very evident to all.  I am very ecstatic I had the opportunity to attend with my friends.  We had a ball.  Thank you for being the wonderful people you are and for the talented and awesome show you did in Chris Palmer’s memory.  Thank you very much!

Really cool!   As they say in the islands, "Maximum Respect."

It was interesting to watch the transition from an Empty room to a Full room. Sound system check to a Live performance. Lights and Action!

The show was spectacular, particularly your Dance Review: Most of the night, you had nearly everyone dancing - with you. It has to be difficult to keep your focus while there is so much going on.  But you did it with ease.

I thought that your protégés were particularly impressive.  They enjoyed the fact you including them and interacting with them during the show.

Maybe Debbie could do an Elvis movie theme and each of the guys could star in it with you.

The venue was better than I thought.  I'm sure it wasn't what you envisioned, but it was just what that group needed.    Anyway, it was great. I'll try to help Debbie with some internet work.

When does the tour begin?

What a beautiful letter you wrote Manny. I just wanted to report that Randy put on a great Elvis show in Chris' memory tonight and Alecia did a great job putting it all together also. I really enjoyed myself a lot and I was honored that Randy and Alecia let me open the show for them with the two inspirational poems, and closed with the song that I wrote for Chris to the tune of Elton John’s song “Candle in the Wind.”  Like I said, I wrote all new lyrics to go with Chris' life and I named it Goodbye Chris Palmer. It was a real honor for me. So thank you to both of you for letting me be a part of your show and thank you for the beautiful certificate that you presented to me. For those who could not attend the show tonight, you missed one heck of a good show. You did a great job Randy. I just wish all of you could have been there. Take Care and Have A Wonderful Weekend!

Love Gigi

I could not wait to get home to my computer.  I heard of the show on Majic 102.7 radio.  I almost did not attend because I thought it was one of those other Elvis shows.  Then I heard about the reason for the program and that the proceeds were going to the Exceptional Theatre for the Drama students.  I thought this is a worthy cause as my neighbor’s kids are exceptional people.  WOW! What I saw was an amazing performer Randy Elvis Walker.  I have been to many Elvis shows but I must admit, he had the whole package of the voice, moves, the charisma and the outfits of Elvis.  Randy’s warmth, affection and love towards the kids were amazing.  They had a ball and could not wait to get on stage with him in their Elvis costumes to dance and move like Elvis.  They impersonated Randy’s moves, kicks, etc.  Thank you Randy for the wonderful tribute you have to both Chris Palmer and Elvis Presley.  As a matter of fact your show included Chris from beginning to end.  You did an AWESOME and FANTASTIC Performance!

Folks I'm just so moved by all this I had to pay tribute to our good friends the Walkers.  Randy and Alicia's ceaseless devotion to Chris over the last few years is truly always inspiring.  It speaks volumes of who they are when one looks at all the time they spent with him, all the moments they shared with him and his mother Mary and in particular the great emotional support they gave in those last most difficult moments.  This selfless act in putting on this show only highlights what genuine, loyal, consistent and wonderful friends Randy and Alicia Walker are to all who know them.

Thank God for such folks - they are few and far between.
